Laser Core of Knowledge
The core of knowledge is the minimum syllabus necessary for a laser course. When completed the laser user will have the necessary training to carry out their duties required of them. The course is designed to protect the patient and all persons present during the use of class 4 Laser in the medical practice.
This course is approved by the British Medical Laser Association (BMLA) & is necessary to meet local authority standards. Insurers will require evidence that users have completed a core of knowledge.
Our course meets the syllabus defined by the UK department of Health MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency). This syllabus is defined in MHRA document: Guidance for the safe use of lasers, intense pulsed light source systems & LEDs in medical, surgical, dental & aesthetic practices DB2008(03).
